JOY Funders

Jumpstart Our Youth is funded by a collaborative of Maine foundations who want to promote local giving and sound philanthropic practices. The individual funders have drawn upon their respective expertise and giving practices to construct and launch JOY.

The funders also value efficiency and chose to deliver the youth philanthropy curriculum across Maine through the 64 chapters of Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, a middle and high school-based educational program for students at-risk with an intense focus on student citizenship and community service learning.
